What should I wear?

For all classes make sure you wear comfortable sportswear that doesn't restrict your movement. For Strong please wear trainers which support and cushion your feet. For VeraFlow, BarreBeats, Warrior Sculpt and Pilates you should have bare feet or perhaps non-slip socks.

What do I need?

Always have some water handy and perhaps a sweat towel. For all classes you will need a yoga mat (or similar). If you don't have one you could purchase one from here or here. For some classes you will need small equipment such as a pair of light dumbbells (1-2kg), a mini-loop resistance band, a small Pilates ball, a yoga block. You will be able to do any class even without the equipment so don't be put off it you don't have it yet!

Can I just show up?

We are not currently running in person classes due to COVID-19. All classes must be booked in advance. You can do that here.

When should I arrive and what is the cut off time for entry?

We are currently not running any in person classes due to COVID-19. Please ensure you log in to your online live stream and pre-recorded sessions a couple of minutes before the start time! You should always aim to arrive a few minutes before the class is due to start to find a space in the studio and let me know about any potential health issues before we start. If it's your first time please do ensure you arrive 5 minutes before the scheduled start time. I do not allow entry into classes 5 minutes after the scheduled class start time. I understand there can be travel disruptions but for your safety you must be present for the class warm-up. Late arrivals are disruptive for everyone else in the class so please be mindful.

I'm a bit nervous to join and I don't know anyone

We are a super friendly group and welcome everyone to join us. We don't stop at the classes and often socialise together too. So it's a great way to meet people! But don't worry, if you prefer to do your class and go home, that's cool too! We are currently not running in person classes due to COVID-19 so come hang out with us on Facebook here (we also arrange get-togethers sometimes too!)

How do I access online classes?

If you want to take classes on demand you need to create an account on this website and go to this page. For live stream classes you will book through GymCatch and you will receive a link to attend the class on Zoom. Please ensure you have downloaded the most up-to-date version of Zoom here.

Will you be able to see me in online classes?

The instructor should be able to see you during live stream classes to give you feedback and for interaction. The other participants in the class won't see you as they will have the instructor pinned to the screen. For on demand and scheduled pre-recorded classes no-one else will be able to see or watch you.
